Chemo #3, Day 7

Turnabout is fair play. (American)
Something that you say which means you will do something that someone else has done because this is fair. You cook dinner tonight, I cooked last night. Turnabout is fair play.

I am sick of me. Sick of this cancer, sick of being sick, sick of having a focus on my life that I don't want. I want to look outside of me. And you can help!

Since you are reading this, I want to hear from you. Remember, Santa is coming and he knows who is naughty and nice and who doesn't respond. Turnabout is fair play. Tell me the two top great things in your life. If you want, tell me one thing that isn't so great. Tell me one funny you did this week or month. That's just 3 or 4 things. Come on! You can do it!

You can do this anonysmously, anonysmously but typing your name at the end of your entry, with a Google email account, or just your name.

I look forward to looking out instead of in. . . turnabout is fair play.

  1. Okay I'm game for this....

    1. My family. I love being with Troy, having him make me laugh, know me inside and out, and just how to make me smile, even after I've had crappy days at work, etc. I love being with the boys and getting their gifts of love and devotion. There cute little homemade flower pots, necklaces, etc. and being able to decorate them around the house and be proud of who and what they are are and becoming.

    2. Second top thing in my life that I sincerely take so much pride in my life is knowing everything that is mine, is really truly mine. I have several people in my family who beg, steal, etc to get everything that they want, then look back and whine because I have nicer items than they do. My come back? I worked for what I have and I can show for it and be proud of it.

.... One thing not to great? Dealing with an employee who is in an abusive relationship and isn't really doing much about it right now. Scary stuff!

  2. By the way, I went up and spoke with Tony and Phyllis last night. At first, when I mentioned your name, both of them turned around and stated "What does the blond b*tch want now?" with smiles on their face. As soon as I told them what was up, they were very sympathetic, but assured me, as we all know, you have the right kind of attitude to kick this thing in the butt. I gave Phyllis your blog site and she was going to log on and check it out...

    Take care!

  3. Ok, let's see if I can do this without crying! Top two great things in my life? Well first would be you Mom, well and Vic. Being your daughter is the best. The love you have given me over the years is amazing. I can not ask for better parents. You have done sooooo much for me and my family that I can't not express enough thanks for.

Another great thing in my life is my kids. I love waking up in the morning to get them off to school and when they come home they are willing to share what they did that day. I am really happy with how they have grown into such amazing young girls. They are my world.

  4. Oh!! A funny that happened a week or so ago, is one night as we sat down for dinner. McKenzie was pouring milk for everyone and she asks what is Daddy having to drink? Well, Mike wasn't here yet and so I answered for him. I told her that he hasn't seemed to be having any milk in the morning with his breakfast, so he better have some for dinner. McKenzie then goes on to state that, "Yeah, he better cause milk is good for his colons." I asked her where did she hear this from and she said, " I don't know. I just know that milk is good for you and you have colons. Don't you?"

  7. Two good things ..... well my friend got a new puppy and I went and played with her (I prefer kitties, but the puppy was fun). and let's see, I went to dinner with Barbara P. (Aunt Ruth's daughter in law) and her book club last night and we had a great time being crazy women.

I hope that brightens your day a little.

    Love You!

  8. Hey Renee,

Had a nice day today, as I got to drive to Morgan Hill, to meet an old friend from JUNIOR HIGH, and had lunch with her at Marie Calendars. What a blast to see her again. We were there for close to 3 hours!

Then I stopped at a couple stores on the way home, that will be going out of business, (like Mervyn') (sad) and bought a couple things (clothes) on great sales. Ken will give them to me as a Christmas gift. =0) He said, "that sounds great to me, now I don't have to figure out what you want!"

Well, still praying for you Renee! And thanks again for all your encouraging words to me!

    Love you!
    Kim
